Excellent east meets west New Music.....
The music is perfermed with the level of skill one now comes to expect from the Kronos Quartet. Ms. Ali-Zadeh's compositions are flowing and very moving. An excellent addition to any new music collection or a great place to begin with contemporary classical music/new music. The recording is also of great quality. I particularly like the title piece and the track for prepared piano, with its eerie rattle.
