Love the podcast....love the music...
Lex tells great ghost stories on his podcast, and the music he makes for it is fantastically creepy. I've been waiting for these songs on iTunes because they're so cool and halloween-like. These songs are great, and if you like his podcast you'll definitely like these songs!
Interesting, Versatile Music
Lex's music on this album is interesting and well composed enough to be listened to on it's own in any setting. However, it's also sublte and suggestively spooky enough to make wonderful background music for halloween parties, spooky story nights, or any other situations where you just need something to add a little bit of spookiness. Unlike a lot of "spooky music", it's not at all corny, cheesy, or over-the-top in any way. I would highly reccommend it for Halloween or 'get situated' music for scary movie night, but I'd also recommend you give it a listen more seriously for other sitations. You may find you really enjoy it.
Anything Ghost - top notch
Lex has come a long way since the early 80's when I happily watched him front LA's impressively talented Lexington Devils. The music is much more subtle these days as he sets the mood for ghostly scenes, but his talent and intelligence continue to shine as bright as they did when I first saw him perform 25 years ago.
