REAL SOUL
"Funky, soulful and smooth!!!" best describes the sound on this album. Lilla D Mone delivers a familar sound that we have heard from the likes of Erykah Badu, Goapele and a host of others that deliver that modern Soul. "No bubble gum in here. Its REAL SOUL music!"
I dig it.
This CD is classy as hell. She's not afraid to experiment with a few different sounds in addition to the traditional soulful stuff and I'm into it. I think the production is perfect for her music. Sometimes this style can tend to be a little under-produced for effect, but this is right on the money. It reminds me of a cross between Hil St. Soul, Erikah Badu, and Lina.

I pretty much love Lilla D Mone cosidering I know her, i know her as Lilly, but same no difference. I love the feel of this album! Lilly, you're amazing. I enjoy every song.
