Album Review

From Orange County comes a band that reflects all the worst aspects of the Orange County punk scene. Of course they're homophobic, exemplified on the song "Big Pink Dress," where they sing frat-nitwit lyrics like, "I live with Bill/It's such a thrill/We get on so fine/We tend our garden every day/Sometimes we get 69." Guttermouth also try to be sarcastic and humorous à la the Vandals. Musically, they play by-the-numbers punk rock. "Corpse Rotting in Hell," a minute-long takeoff on death metal with a dog bark at the end, is a standout and worth a chuckle.

Best Played Loud!!

I really, really loved this album. Every song is raunchy, fun and meant to offend everyone from all walks of life which is what good Punk Rock music should do. My favorites? "Do the Hustle" (a great slam on rollerblading); Lipstick (Step-Moms run for cover!); "Corpses rotting in hell" (Punk if played by dogs) and "What If" (Imagine Fred Schneider singing Doors songs). This is one album you should definitely give a listen to!

One of my favorites

This is the funniest punk cd ever. The music is pretty simple but the content is classic. Guttermouth will never make a record as good as this one.

Top two guttermouth

This album and the Teri Yakimoto are the top guttermouth bands. Ive been to a bunch of shows before they left nitro. This for me is true guttermouth with songs that offend, and funny. They seem to be more puss now, I wish they would go back to this stuff. Thanks Mark
