A true jazz artist.
There are many greats who have sung "Teach Me Tonight" and have done so beautifully. Yet if there were only one recording of that standard left in the universe, I would have to pick the one on this album. Backed by a thoughtful, evocative, yet spare arrangement, the rest is left to Pappas. Gorgeous.

Krisanthi Pappas is one of several good jazz singers who have made the New England area their jazz base during the 1980's and 1990's. Having studied fundamental music, theory, education and voice and piano at such prestigious institutions as Boston Conservatory of Music, Berklee College of Music and Princeton University, Pappas began performing in community theaters in the 1970's.
