Old School...or I just got schooled?
Melinda Doolittle is easily the finest singer in the 6 seasons of American Idol. I can say that handily as someone who was there and watched her majesty week in and week out. The girl can sang! My Funny Valentine was the performance that first blew me away. It is only appropriate that it should be her first single. Her voice is an instrument and like any instrumentalist, when they play their instrument correctly and with soul, the results are magical. This single is simply a prophecy of the magic that is to come from Mindy-Doo. Chris

Since finishing as second runner-up on the sixth season of ‘American Idol,” Melinda Doolittle has quietly remained under the radar for the most part, making a few appearances and participating in charity events. Never have I been more awed by an artist than I am with Melinda...her voice is so pure, so rich, and she takes it and reaches right into my heart....She took my breath away the first time I heard her on Idol 6, and since then I have never been anything but thrilled when I hear her powerful voice. This new single, My Funny Valentine, is the most amazing song of all...it will surely be the new benchmark for this classic song....Buy it today...and I know you will squeal with delight.....It is truely Brilliant.....
