Simply beautiful!
This CD is a must-buy!!! As people and musicians, I am one of Kathrin and Tim's biggest fans. Their music is inspiring, soothing, and memorable. This CD is a yet another testament to their talents and strengths. I have listened to this CD endlessly and it is a must-have to any respectable collection. My faves are "My Hallelujah," "Leaving for Memphis," and "Ballad of Hank Williams." Sweet Talk Radio is also the ultimate joy to listen to live!
Amazing harmonies and beautiful poetry
Sweet Talk Radio is SUCH a talented duo. Kathrin and Tim's voices blend together into such a gorgeous harmony. The lyrics are incredibly poetic and moving, and the songs will pick you up and never set you down. I keep "Hallelujah" on repeat, and just listen to it over and over and over. Buy it twice in case one wears out!

A refreshing mix of uptempo tracks are well balanced by slower, more melodic - hauntingly beautiful - stories that burrow under your skin and stay with you. You will find yourself singing along, so don't fight it - embrace it. "Labour of Love" is the perfect track for a sunny afternoon. There are so many memorable tracks on this record and with each listen, the subtle mastery of Burlingame's production shines through and is the perfect compliment and balance to Shorr's distinct and infectious voice. Anyone lucky enough to see STR live should make the point not to miss it. They deliver hi fidelity in every format.
