I HAVE FOUND THE BEST CELINE DION ALBUM EVER!!!!!
"my love" is truly a greatest hits album. it is available in both a single disc and 2 disc format. of course, i ordered the 2-disc version. "my love" goes back further in celine's catalog than "all the way" did, starting with celine's first big u.s. hit, "where does my heart beat now" from her american debut "unison". the album continues, highlighting nearly all of her english releases. (all except the lullaby album, "miracle" and the live concert cd, "a new day".) disc 1 includes everything from diane warren's"the power of love" to the beautiful celine dion/barbara streisand duet "tell him" to her new single "my love" (the live version.). disc 2 has my favorite song from "falling into you", "river deep mountain high". david foster's "the prayer" and the wildly popular "my heart will go on" are also on disc 2. celine's covers of aretha franklin's "natural woman" and luther vandrosse's "dance with my father" also grace this disc. disc 2 also holds a hidden gem-a new ballad called "there comes a time". finally, enrio merricone's "i knew i loved you" rounds out an album of musical perfection. celine was absolutely right to release a new greatest hits cd. "my love" is 100x's better than "all the way". it does her more justice in calling itself her "greatest hits" by covering more of her material. I LOVE "my love"!!! t stop listening to it!!! it is undeniably her ABSOLUTE BEST work to date. and that says a lot!!! BUY IT!!!!! favorite songs: because you loved me love can move mountains my love-AMAZING!!! the entire first verse is done a'capella. a natural woman-nobody will ever top aretha, but her version is the best cover of this song i've ever heard. pour que tu m'aimes encore that's the way it is there comes a time dance with my father i knew i loved you
Celine is MY angel
This album is amaing! I've loved Celine since I was 8 years old and she was the lady with the pretty voice who sang the theme from Beauty and the Beast. I have idolized her since I was 12 and "Because You Loved Me" was her current hit. I have listened to Celine for most of my life and am still one of her biggest fans at 24. Celine- Can't wait to see you in Chicago!!
