Like slipping into a warm bath
Caithlin, once the sweet rose of the Indy scene, seems to have found another sound after having her first child. Gone are the long wild guitar solos, and instead comes layers of depth, sincerity, and serenity. The instrumentation is lush and well layered, while her voice shows a sweet maturity. Sure, those who are expecting another "Catastrophe Keeps Us Together" or "Artificial Light" might be slightly disappointed, but those who might of replaced their combat boots for vegan Tom's Shoes might enjoy this gorgeous album. Great album and highly recommended.
