iTunes Review

Josh Freese is a highly desired drummer who has performed with the Vandals and A Perfect Circle and worked as a studio musician for Guns N’ Roses, Mike Ness, Chris Cornell and Paul Westerberg. This 5-song EP is another pleasant collection of power-punk where the melodies blow by like a calm California wind over the beach. His vocals are clean and earnest and his songs are smooth and cruise-worthy. The EP was financed by fans who served as the inspiration for the songs. Four supporters are featured on the EP cover. There isn’t a weak tune here. “See You In 2010” adds a few extra breaks and riffs. “NY Style Eddie” flows with a Southern California vibe more than anything East Coast. “All The Way From F.L.A.” swerves like a lost Descendents tune. It’s quick, easy fun, meant to be blasted from the car stereo.

Freaking great album

Another killer album from Josh! I bought one of his crazy packages, the $125 version that came w/ a ton of cool stuff. Talked to Josh on the phone for 20 minutes the day the album came out, which was incredible! This album is catchy as hell, and the lyrics are awesome. Next time I may have to think about buying the package that gets a song written about me!
