Another Repackaging of POOR HEART feat. Lou Gramm

Lou Gramm and Foreigner fans will recognize these tracks from the 1970 release by one of Lou's former bands, Poor Heart. It's been released and re-released under various titles (Poor Heart, Stranger in a Strange Land, Mystic Foreigner). Unfortunately, the band utilized three lead vocalists, so then 19-year old Lou Grammatico was not prominently featured. That signature Lou sound is mostly absent here, though there are glimpses, particularly on "Won't Somebody Take Her Home." Fans of The Guess Who, Wishbone Ash and early Jefferson Airplane might find this an interesting musical time capsule, but the songs are not particularly strong. Those looking for pre-Foreigner Lou may find his mid-70s band, Black Sheep, more to their liking.

Yes, this is Lou Gramm

The two people who gave this one star must not have heard Lou Grammatico before Foreigner. He was in a couple of different bands in the early seventies, including Black Sheep. Before this time, he sang with a more relaxed approach. During his Black Sheep days he figured out how to belt out from his diaphram (sp?)

NOT LOU GRAMM!!!!

Some cheesy ripoff guy who recorded this crap in his basement, and then put the names "Lou Gramm" (which i'm pretty sure is not his real name) and "Foreigner" on the cover in hopes of gaining attention. I mean, this guy isn't even like a tribute or anything he's just using the name in order to gain some attention which he will never get. Essentially he is trying to use Lou Gramm and Foreigner's name ot get attention he doesn't deserve. One word for that LAME
