Always a special place in my heart..

The only complaint I have about MYV's major releases on iTunes are the titles. They should have just left them in their native language IMO. However, a very small gripe.. tis the music that matters to the heart! Speaking of which, this album will always be dear to me. kimi ni negai wo (When I Wish Upon You) was the very first song by Miyavi I ever heard and reminds me so very much of my closest friend. For that reason, this will always be my "spirit" song. Another flawless album by MYV. I sure hope to see more from him here in the USA.

I was determined not to become a Miyavi fangirl...so much for that. He is an extraordinary artist; don't be confused by his eccentric looks. He is the real deal, a real artist with soul and a huge musical range that blows away most of the pop here in America. I hope this is a sign that iTunes will add more Jrock to it's store. Thanks!

Amazing.

This, and all of Miyavi's songs are amazing. A good suggestion would be Senor Senora Senorita, and When I Wish Upon You, which is an epic song in it's entirty. Amazing. Love. Nothing else describes this album. Buy it before I eat you.

Miyavi has the look and ambition of a manga/anime rock star, but he also has songs to back up his flamboyantly presented projects, mixing acoustic pop, blues, and hip-hop elements into his eccentric blend of rock. Miyavi is half Japanese and half Korean, although he grew up in Japan, aspiring to be a soccer player as a kid. His sports career was cut short by an injury at the age of 15, and so he switched to rock music. He debuted on the professional scene at 18, appearing in 1999 as Miyabi, the guitarist...
