Really good hip hop - I was totally surprised

I think I saw the "The Shining" pop up on the "songs you might like" section when I opened up itunes one day so I checked it out and like all good hip hop songs for me, I know pretty much in the first 5 - 25 seconds if I like the beat or not, and I definitely liked the beat in the "The Shining" within the first 5 seconds. To my pleasant surprise, I found that I pretty much liked each and every song on this album! While the lyrics are no Talib Kweli or Planet Asia, they are still honest, true, and definitely full of thought and skill. Some of my favorite songs are "The Shining", "UpNAtem", "The Blah Blah", and the list goes on and on. While it's not my favorite song on the album, you can tell a lot of blood, sweat and tears was carefully poured into "Always Be Around", as it is a pain filled statement about a father who abandoned his son. I think true hip hop is about real people and how they really live their lives...not just talking about bling and crap like that. This is definitely true hip hop in my eyes so I am totally recommending this entire album to anyone who really appreciates true hip hop at a very high level. It's not very often I buy the entire album of any group or artist these days, not even Talib Kweli or Planet Asia. So Away Team, from a true hip hop fan, I hope you take that as a compliment. This is one of the best albums I have heard in a really long time...well done.

Worth it!

I just heard of these guys and it took me about 5 songs through to realize these guys are no joke. Definetly worth purchasing, especially if your trying to find some new music. RU Feelin' it? I am!
