Haters be hatin'...?

Zonoscope was a refreshing and wonderful album so I'm not sure why people like "Mike L" are describing it as a "huge let down".

These are covers.

It may benefit those hating on Cut Copy for putting out such an uncharacteristic single to know that these are covers of songs from Zonoscope. The cover of Where I'm Going is by Lotus Plaza, the solo act of Deerhunter's Lockett Pundt. From that point of view, it is a beautiful, sprawling, noise-filled, acoustic, ambient reworking that doesn't come across as forced. The single is worth it for that song alone. The cover of Need You Now is by Architecture in Helsinki. I cannot give my opinion on it as I have not listened to it, but it too deserves to be evaluated from the perspective of a cover, not a Cut Copy song.

What happened to these guys?

Zonoscope was just terrible... I can't even enjoy their shows anymore, and now why are they redoing these songs? Ugh.
