I admit I know nothing about...
Hawaiian music but I DO know that I love the track Ka Pilina. Is it strange to say that it makes me want to fall in love? It just makes me want to immerse myself (not necessarily physically) in the girl of my dreams.

That's pretty cool, because that is what Ka Pilina is about! It is a love song, comparing the love of a couple to native birds. The chorus, "O ka pilina a kaua" means "our love/intimacy." The fact that Sean could portray this feeling to people who don't know the language is a sign of a true master--there are few who can do this. Great album! I Ka'ililauokekoa, Pua Lililehua, Ka Pilina, and He Inoa No Ka'iulani are my favorites.
A must for Hawaiian music fans!
I just love Sean Na'auao. My little 3.5 year old friend, Ava LOVES "Ka'ililauokekoa!" She sings along to the song! Loads of favorites like "Ka Pilina" and "Pua Lililehua"
