Album Review
Personable and traditional, Wright is the bland new face of country. On 1999's Single White Female, she struck a feminist pose for all 21st century Dixie chicks, taking the voice of the modern everywoman on a cycle of songs detailing the little parts of working and non-working relationships. This more conservative follow-up finds her back on the farm, still tracking the ins and outs of love, but accompanied by a shrugging indifference. Ultimately, it orbits around the concept of love as an unquestionable force, even something to fall back on. Single White Female was all about breaking from tradition; Never Love You Enough is about getting it all back. Sometime at the turn of the century, Wright got the idea that being a single female is no way to spend the new millennium.

One of Chely's Weaker CDs
Chely is a great singer, this album is, however, disappointing. It only contains one really memorable song, "Jezebel," and a lot of filler songs that sound ok on the first few listens, but lack any real staying power. Also, Chely is trying way too hard to be an imitation of late 1990s Faith Hill on this cd, the results seem forced. Faith Hill could pull some of these songs off, but Chely can't, for whatever reason. If you are interested in Chely's music, I would recommend that you get Single White Female or her Millenium Collection first. Chely has made some good music in the past, this CD is not up to her normal standards.
One of my fave Chely CDs
This is one of my favorite Chely CDs. A little mellow poppier sounding country. Excellent CD.
Most Under Rated Album in Country Music
This top 5 album by Chely is her most under rated. While I was Waiting should have been, and would have been a #1 single if they would have released it. Jezebel is classic "Loretta" country. This really is a top notch effort by one of country msuic better vocalist.
