Give him a break,

Not to sound rude to all the comments on here because even I don't think it's his best work and I've never been a hardcore NSN fan like most fourteen year old girls. But simply put, artists grow and develop. The main advantage of getting signed to a major record label is that they help an artist develop with time. However, Chris Drew took a different path by releasing his music himself. So yes, now is when he's developing into the man he'll be the rest of his life. You wouldn't get mad an infant for growing up just because they don't look as cute as they did in their earlier stages of life. Growth and development is vital. His old stuff is a little better in my opinion, yeah, but what's more imortant is that everyone give the guy a break. Have you ever heard Secondhand Serenade's album, A Twist in My Story? He re-releases some songs that woud have probably sounded better solely acoustic. It happens though, there's always a strive to be better than last time. Chris is just trying to share what he can with us, ya know? Unless you plan on picking up a guitar and showing something better, don't be so quick to judge. Remember, when you point a finger, you've got three more pointing back at you. Continue with your music, man. I support you, and despite what some reviews may show, you do have support. We're here with you, bro. -DA

Chris butcher the songs Jane Doe and What is love and She's got Style

When Chris performed the song Jane Doe with just his ukeule it was music to my ears but then I hear this song with instruments added and it sounds terrible. What the hell is a harmonica doing in the song????. Why did Chris have to mess up She's got Style it was perfect before this happened. What is Love is just supposed to have guitar in it, with additional instruments added you can't really know what the song really about. I love Never Shout Never but I can't support him but I still like the old versions and old songs. In my opinion don't buy this but if you do, compare the old Jane Doe to the new one and you will find the old version to be MUCH BETTER. Same thing with the other songs as well compare them and you will see a big difference. Trust me you will like the old versions better.

fantabulous

I'm so glad we can FINALLY purchase Jane Doe! That song is awesome. Chris has so much talent. :)

and for those who are complaining it sounds 'different' you have to think rationally. This is a first full COMPLETE album so I'm sure the label company is pushing a lot of 'different' things. If you really know anything about this industry you will understand that, and if youre really a NSN fan you will respect that Chris is branching out and he quite obviously likes the fruit of his labors.

Let's give him a round of applause! *CLAPS*

Never Shout Never is a one-man band featuring Christofer Drew, a Missouri native whose songs straddle the border between emo and acoustic singer/songwriter fare. A product of the digital age, Drew originally built a fan base by posting his bright, soul-baring music to the Internet. After averaging over 15,000 online plays a day, he made Never Shout Never legitimate in 2008 by releasing his first recording, the Yippee EP.
