just because..
I normally don't do this but I'm writing a review in support of this single because so far the only person who has weighed in is clearly a moron. I think these songs, especially "New Flowers." It has a cool two step meets radiohead thing going on. well done.

FRESH, shimmering guitars over stuttering bass, Ballearic bongo, 90's sega vibes. Sounds like the final level of Sonic the Hedgehog in Ibiza where they award you the cup and there's lots of digital confetti everywhere.

Riding the line between Battles' proggy electro jams and Vampire Weekend’s tropical pop, Brooklyn duo Tanlines started as a remix project by Eric Emm (Don Caballero, Storm & Stress, Brothers) and Jesse Cohen (Professor Murder) that involved friends singing over their music.
