It's about time...
It has been way too long since the last recording by Mr. Flood. He is one of only a handful of truly gifted songwriters today. We mostly hear his songs performed by other artists. However, there is a simplicity and joy in Mr. Flood's versions that should not be missed. This recording is no exception. It is also far more intimate than previous albums. I won't list any individual stand out tracks. For me they are constantly changing and all classics.

Multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter Joe Flood is a veteran of the downtown N.Y.C. roots rock scene that swept through clubs like the Ludlow Street Cafe, Nightingale, and Rodeo Bar in the '80s and spawned such talent as the World Famous Blue Jays, Blue Chieftains, and Five Chinese Brothers. Both instrumentally and vocally he is a true inheritor of the rich rock-blues-country-folk blend of the Band.
