this is popo's favorite record
popo loves this record. it has so much emotion and soul. popo loves to put this record on in the shower or while in the car and sing with jana who has the most beautiful voice popo has ever heard, in the vein of classic artists such as mariah carey and whitney houston, but standing on her own merits with the unique, almost fruity richness of her voice. sometimes popo's neighbors bang on popo's wall when he is singing too loudly to his favorite songs on the record, which include jana's stellar cover of "a change is gonna come," "solid ground," "faded love," and the relaxing rnb jumpoff "chameleon." jana mashonee is an amazing artist and $7.99 for 17 tracks is a massive steal in popo's humble opinion. popo cannot recommend this record enough. this girl is exploding and popo is proud to be a fan of someone of such high class.

I concur with previous review. Jana's voice is smooth and inviting. The musical arrangements are melodic and at times enchanting. I saw her perform live at the 2009 Nammy awards and she is equally brilliant in person as she is on the ablum. If you like smooth melodies to listen to by candlelight or firelight or just music to sing to as you cook that fabulous dinner for your loved one, you will love this music. Cheers!
New Moon and Flash of a Firefly
Both of these albums are worth 10 times what I paid for them. I only wish that The Enlightened Time was offered as a music video!
