Didn't know Mr. Pants could pull off this kind of amazing switch up, from the no-wave / psych-hop of his previous releases to just good old grime-y latin riddims. Next thing you know he'll be recording piano etudes and that'll probably be amazing too...

Stones Throw Records-affiliated James Pants is a one-man band whose humorous dance-funk music style is informed by early-'80s R&B/soul and old-school hip-hop as well as whatever thrift-store gear he comes across in his sleepy hometown of Spokane, Washington.
