Anticipation

Exicted for future releases, especially, material from the Dark Horse sessions. Now, many blessings to the Maestro Ravi Shankar!

Expected much more...

Gangeshwari is great - but nothing new here - I was eagerly waiting for some more ragas to mark the maestro's 90th birthday. Please give us unreleased ragas like Darbari Kanada, Durga, Shivaranjani, Bhoopali, Bilaskhani Todi (solo), Jaunpuri, Brindavani Sarang, Bhairav etc.

With the passing of Ustad Alla Rakha (born: Allarakha Kahn) on February 3, 2000, from a heart attack, India lost one of its most influential musicians. Called the "Einstein of rhythm" by Grateful Dead percussionist Mickey Hart, Rakha helped introduce Indian classical music to the western world with his tabla playing.
