A follow-up to their exceptionally dope Nineteen Ninety Now album, Nineteen Ninety More finds the Florida punchline kingpin and NYC golden-era producer reconnecting for an even more ambitious offering. Nineteen Ninety More has 41 tracks, including several unreleased B-sides, vinyl-only joints, new songs, and full instrumentals from the first installment. As on its predecessor, the beats here are culled from Buck's extensive collection of bangers from the mid-'90s: a time when he was arguably at the top of his game, crafting classic boom-bap tracks for the likes of Big L, Kool G Rap, and OC. It also includes new material from cats like The Cella Dwellas ("Rapid Fire"), D.I.T.C with Brand Nubian ("There Will Be Blood Remix"), Lord Digga ("Get Stupid"), and Outerspace ("Good Hell Hunting"). If you're a younger head raised on Auto-Tune, this might be confusing and way too hardcore. But if you long for the days of Timbaland boots, Champion hoodies, and Alpine decks, this is exactly what you've been waiting for.
