Great raw record...
You can always tell a good song if it passes the test of sounding great with just a guitar and a voice. Nik is a musical genius in my book, and has never gotten the attention and recognition he deserves, especially here in the States. This album reminds me of what it might be like to sit with Nik in his living room and say "Hey Nik, play [insert song]," and he does it. Great guitar work, very cool voice, and cool arrangements... great album, with some classic 80s stuff, some post-1998 stuff, and a couple of new tunes thrown in. Can't wait for the next one already!

This is a wonderful selection of Nik's songs old and new, recorded acoustically.
You can sing along to it, blast it out or just put it on during a quiet evening.
Be sure to listen to "confident and wrong", most hillarious!
Fantastic
What a great album!!!! I've followed Nik since the early 80s and have all of his recordings. He's a master songwriter, and this solo acoustic album showcases his enormous talent! If you haven't followed Nik since his heyday in the 80s, you will be pleasantly surprised - check out "Billy," and you'll know what I'm talking about. Nik Kershaw is the real deal, and this album is a masterpiece.
