Buyer Beware FALSE!!!!

by koot04

In response to ivori i's "buyer beware" comment, I purchased the album and am annoyed by the fact that ivori said the majority of the music is filler music. ivori mentions D'Angel, DMX, and Serani as being amature artists all three of these artists are well known in reggae circles and Serani has a song in the charts called "no games" that is on the album. How anyone could write a review possibly turning off people from buying this album is beyond me, when it is filled with amazing songs sung by legitimate artists! To say the album should have been a 2 cd set one dance hall, one roots reggae is missing the entire point of the album. It's called "reggae jammin" people, not roots reggae jammin, not dance hall reggae jammin. Enjoy it for what it is, a nice compilation of reggae that spans all subgenres. I did and I loved it.

Solid Album

by Winterchill2

Reggae Jammin is a solid album. If features enough hits from various artistes that it deserves to be purchased. I do feel that it could have been two albums. One reggae and the other dancehall.

For the dancehall review
Im really loving the song from D'Angel..Stronger...its currently the number one song in Jamaica..so big ups to her! LUST did a wonderful remake of Just As I Am..cant stop playing that track, also Serani's No Games is hoooottt on all the charts. Vybz Kartel does his thing on Trailer Load o' Money and Winner from Konshens is a winner. Finally Bugle ft Tarrus Riley is Top Notch

Reggae/Rockers Review
Cocoa Tea does justice to the song Barack Obama..wicked track. The Beres Hammond is a big tune..solid as usual, Terry Linen is superb with his two songs and my favourite track has to be Tell it like it is from Stevie Face.

Overall its a good cd..just should have been split in two
