Sweet!
Alas, an album from the great Matthew Stewart! I've seen his live performances and have always been blown away with the beauty of his songwriting. The charming "No Return Address" album showcases his versatility in songwriting styles and gives the listener a chance to smile to its hope filled lyrics and then to relax in the elegance of his slower songs such as "Losing Altitude" and "No Return Address", wherein Matthew Stewart's talent really shines. I wish he had only put his songs "No Longer There" and "Clouds of the Morning" on the album, but I guess he'll have to put them on his next release ;)
Fantastic Crossover Artist
This guy really has the potential to break through any secular/Christian sound barrier. So many GORGEOUS melody-driven songs with a positive message, oh-so-catchy lyrics and versatility to boot. Please Sir and No Return Address are exceptional, and acoustic tracks like Bump in the Night and Losing Altitude showcase simplistic brilliance. I'd highly recommend if you like the feel of Jack Johnson or Christian artists Matthew West and Brandon Heath.

Matt Stewart fuses styles so naturally that he makes it seem as simple as picking up a guitar. His music is complex in a way that raises the listener's awareness, rather than speaking down to it. Joyful, playful, and moving, this is a beautifully crafted album by a brilliant young artist.
