Tina Nico is one of those female singers/songwriters who could use a little more 'oomph' in her music. She has the voice and the ability to put together a song but it doesn't feel complete somehow. For me, her albums are akin to a best friend showing you what she's been doing with those guitar lessons her Mom paid for in her room and you're blown away but can hear the drums and bass lines resonating in your skull. The lyrics leave a little to be desired.
