A new American classic--pure joy!
The fact that this debut album was released only days ago by a brand new face on the jazz scene and is currently #28 as of this writing, speaks volumes. Back by a 40+ piece orchestra with rich, multi-layered arrangements by the legendary Charles Calello and the talents of jazz greats guitarist "Bucky" Pizzarelli and Brazilian percussionist Paulinho da Costa, this young singer has literally hit all the right notes. The clarity and beauty of his voice is pure joy. This album rocks, swings, sways, breaks your heart and leaves you beggin' to hear more from this bright, new rising star. Every song is a winner! A MUST HAVE!
Smooth voice!!
WOW!! I knew it would be good, had no idea it would be so wonderful! Yes, I knew the songs and titles but his renditions are new and such a joy to listen to. Smooth amazing voice, such a beautiful sound and great cd, it's too hard for me to pick a favorite song. JLB is ruling my most played songs list on my iPod!
