Elegant pop music
This is a strong record from an artist who writes smart pop songs with heart. It hasn't left our player since we got it several months ago and has been in regular rotation in our playlists! A consummate songwriter, Staci writes exquisitely crafted pop gems with perfect melodies and great hooks. As a vocalist, she's confident and assured and sings with an intimate and convincing ease. The production is cohesive in its diversity, employing four different producers to bring this record to life. I love the textural guitar tones of "Nothing Short of Amazing", "Safe With Me" and "Right Now" as well as the anthemic production on songs like "Safe Place To Land" and "Brave New Love". The Nate Sabin (Sara Groves) production of "St. Mary's" makes for a nice centerpiece on the album featuring a stripped down piano and super cool percussion. This is a great record that gets better with every listen. It refuses to be background music as every song grabs your attention refuses to let go, and stays with you long after you turn it off.

Staci is the real thing--an incredible musician, brilliant songwriter, and vulnerable vessel through whom God works to minister to the deepest parts of the listener's soul.
