Plesently surprised
I was worried when I heard scar symmetry parted ways with their origional singer. When I heard they replaced him with 2 singers I was overwhelmed with a combination of intregue and dissapointment. I don't know why but at first the idea of a duo for a front man seemed kind of strange. After a few months of getting used to the idea of a duo I became increasingly excited about the forthcoming album. Now that I have heard 11 out of the 12 songs I can say this: The new scar symmetry album transends all previous efforts. Good work scar symmetry. For those of you who miss the old singer; keep an eye out for his new project "solution .45", they have a record in the making as well.

I'm actually really impressed with the new singers. When I first heard of them, I wasn't really expecting much, but I think they did a good job of picking up where Christian left off. I'll miss Christian in Scar Symmetry, he was one of the main things that made Scar Symmetry great. If you want to know what Christian has been up to after Scar Symmetry, check out the bands Miseration and Solution .45 (there's a period in front of the 45, just so you know). He's in some other bands besides these, but I don't remeber the names. If you search Christian Alvestam, you should be able to find them.
