AMAZING
.... That is it is nothing less then amazing.
Catchy and fun
Saw and heard them for the first time just a couple weeks ago at a party in downtown Detroit and was instantly captivated by their sound: pop-y, edgy, synth-tech. Live, they were energetic and engaging and just fun to watch; couldn't help but to bounce along to the beat. Leah's voice is sweet, almost child-like, or singer-song-writer-y, but the lyrics do have a somewhat dry and sarcastic sense of humor to them sometimes. Overall, I think they're one of the best things I've seen/heard in Detroit. Buy. Enjoy. Tell your friends.
Best pop band in Detroit
Leah and her brother started this three piece band, and it is awesome. Synth pop with lyrics about cold weather, not wanting to go to work, getting ditched by your friends, and sucky neighbors. Very familiar subject matter. The first time you hear it, you'll think it's awkward because it's so unique. The second and third time you hear it - you're singing along! This is one of those bands you keep extra cds in you back pocket so you can give your friends an album of the cool new band you found. Last time I saw them play, I bought 4 cds.
