Album Review
Released a little over a year after TLC's final posthumous 3D, Now and Forever: The Hits is a superb 19-track compilation of the trio's heyday as the greatest girl group of the '90s. With the exception of the minor hits "I'm Good at Being Bad," "Dear Lie," and the holiday single "Sleigh Ride," every one of their hit singles is here, including such decade-defining songs as "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg," "Creep," "Waterfalls," "No Scrubs" (presented in its "Rap Version"), and "Unpretty," presented in a roughly chronological order. TLC had expertly crafted albums, especially in CrazySexyCool and FanMail, but their highlights always appeared on singles, and when they're collected together as they are here, it's not only an excellent career summary, it's an addictive listen. [Now and Forever was also released with a bonus DVD that contained the videos for their five biggest hits: "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg," "Waterfalls," "Creep," "No Scrubs," and "Unpretty."]

Best girl group of the 90's.
by ericfrompittI am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania originally... and I loved TLC with a passion. They came out before Destiny's Child and En Vogue. Their early 90's sound will always have a special place in my heart. "Baby Baby Baby" was a favorite from my early elementary school years. This is a great hip hop influenced R&B/Pop album. Best songs are from the early 90's cause that was my favorite part of my life as a kid. I'm older now (25) but TLC will always have a special place in my heart. Great car music for cool guys like. (:
