Album Review

Sounding like the Mighty Mighty Bosstones in their early years, the Know How also have a gruff vocalist like Dicky Barrett in Skyler Stone and a prominent, vibrant use of horns courtesy of trumpet/trombone talent Evan Cantwell. Beneath it all, the six-piece band skillfully brings large, winning choruses to its welcome punk and ska hybrid on tracks like "Better Way" and the lovelorn "Fell for You." If the Know How lack any real stylistic originality, they've got heaps of energy and an uncanny ability to write melodic keepers. From the Less Than Jake-inspired spunk of "Why Wait" to the pop-ska delights of "No One Makes It Out Alive," these lads have brought their game to Now in Technicolor. ~ John D. Luerssen, Rovi

These Guys are awesome.

This band is awesome!!! I can't say enough about them. I just saw them tonight at Hogue Barmichael's in Newport Beach. They are on tour right now and came here all the way from Florida. I talked with their keyboardist and he is a really cool guy. This band is just altogether great. Definately check this CD out and their other one that Itunes does not have. They have a great vibe to their live shows, so check them out when they come to your town.
