Awesome Follow-Up!!!!
This is an incredible Sophmore effort from this insanely eclectic group. I highly suggest their First album. I have seen them 3 times already. Really awesome stuff. I like the main message of their music, which is that Israelis and Arabs and whoever else CAN co-exist. I had the distince honor of meeting Ori Kaplan last year and he is one the nicest people I have ever met. So play this album and play it LOUD! DrewSalem

Let me put it simpily. With their mix of electronic, eastern european, funk, and middle eastern, Balkan Beat Box is like none other. Everytime I listen to there music, whether if it's in the doctors officer, the car, or at their concert, I find myself bouncing to the beat Their new new album, I have to say I might like better but both are amazing. I've been fortunate to see them live three times already and am planning to see them in a month at the Lotus World Music Fest. If BBB is playing near you, treat yourself and go see them.
WHAT A BLAST!
Balkan Beat Box is like NOTHING I have ever heard, and that is a good thing. They are a mix of electronic, arabic, and funk and probably a few other things. In concert they are INSANE!! They had the Festival International de Louisiane in Lafayette, La. ROCKIN'!! I am talking white, black, Hispanic, Israli, whatever, everyone was jammin out to this group, jumping up and down to the beat. The place was packed! They also have a great message of Peace in the Midde East, some of the group is from Israel. LOVE THEM!!! Find them on tour and do yourself a favor and go see them. Thank you ITUNES! for having their new release out even before it's on sale to the public!!
