Remastering Tupac albums is like painting over the Mona Lisa.

Why do these albums come out?

I just don't know where to start. For anyone who is new to Tupac's music and is listening to this album, rest assured this is nothing like Tupac's real music. I would suggest buying Me against the World or All Eyez on Me for a better representation of One of the best MCs in history. To put it bluntly, this album is basically trash. Tupac didn't even know some of the rappers that he rhymes with in this album, let alone make music with them. All of these songs were made without the creative imput of Tupac himself. In fact, the lyrics in these songs are just taken from other songs he made. He never meant for the lyrics in the songs contained in this album to be together on the same track. It's almost funny how you can hear his voice change as the tracks progress because the lyrics were taken from songs that were recorded at different parts of his life. These Posthumous "remix" albums like this one, Pac's life, and Loyal to the Game are put out for one simple purpose: To make money at the expense of Tupac's legacy. There is one simple way to stop all this: Don't buy the albums. PS: Track Number 5 is a joke. Hail Mary "Rock Remix"? I wonder what Tupac would say If he were alive...

At the outset of his career, it didn't appear that he would emerge as one of the definitive rappers of the '90s — he started out as a second-string rapper and dancer for Digital Underground, joining only after they had already landed their biggest hit. But in 1991, he delivered an acclaimed debut album, 2Pacalypse Now, and quickly followed with a star-making performance...
