One of Pink Floyd
This Pink Floyd album is a beautiful masterpiece that begins with the cool instrumental opening of the title track to the chanting voices at the end of "Absolutely Curtains". It is shocking that the album isn't recognized as much as the Floyd's other music. David Gilmour provides some of the best guitar work that he has ever done, especially in songs like "The Gold It's in The..." and "Free Four". In addition, the acoustic guitar work on "Wots Uh The Deal" is just as good as the work on "Wish You Were Here". The songs "Burning Bridges" and "Stay", both written by Roger Waters and Rick Wright, are beyond beautiful and unforgettable musically. This album and Meddle began the breakthrough stage of the Floyd. Any die hard Pink Floyd or progressive rock fan would enjoy this.
Obscured by all the other floyd albums...which is a shame
Cause this is the most underrated pink floyd album.....every song on here is good. Nothing grand and epic like some of their other albums, but to this day its one of the best chill records ever made, and FAR from boring too (smh at the person who wrote that review).
Get it!
