A great downtempo record
My expectations for this record were modest, but on every listen I seem to find another song that I really, really like. At this point I'm not sure if there are any bad songs. It *is* an instrumental record, which I guess some people don't like, but I prefer instrumental hip-hop much of the time (DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, Sixtoo) so this is right up my alley. Very expressive without being overly maudlin or relying on heard-it-a-thousand-times ironic vocal samples. Recommended.
Of Cities - Brilliant
This album is sharp, superlative, and a pleasure to hear. I can tell I will be listening to it a lot.
