AWESOME BAND IN ALL OF MN!!!
Machine 22 is the BEST band to come out of MN!!! I've seen them in concert different times and they give you a show to remember. I've met the guys of Machine 22 as well and they are definitely the COOLEST GUYS EVER!!!! Always laughing and having a good time, either it be them playing a show at First Avenue in Minneapolis or playing all the fun games at the Hamline University Fair. These guys really do know how to have a fun time!!! If you ever have the chance to meet them, TAKE THE CHANCE it will be totally worth it :) There songs "Better Way" and "A Million Things" are my all time favorites off of their album, but all-in-all their whole album is wicked SWEET X's22!!! They are one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE BANDS and they always will be!!!
lets break it down...
Machine 22 are far from being the best set of musicians to come out of Minnesota but they're more original then many of the bands the local scene has come aross. However, that's not really saying a whole lot. Splices of tracks sound taken out of a Children 18:3 + 80's punk hybid playbook. The vocals are powerful, driven and you get a sense that the vocalist is serious about his work... but behind him is a need for more creativity. But of course, these are harsh words for a debut full length such as this one and they're a great live band. 'Off the Record' is definitely for those who support local Minnesota music and die hard punk pop rock fans trying to expand their horizons. Definitely give it a listen
great album
this is a great album. its got a good singer amazing drummer and two great guitarists! ive met this band before and they are some of the nicest people ull ever meet. they like to have fun and put on an amazing live show! u should definitly get this album.
