inquisition swing for the fences

The riffs are unrelentingly epic, the guitar-tones are thick yet sharp, the solos are spot-on, the drumming is brutally flawless, and the sound is simply GIGANTIC. I didn't hear anything quite like this in all of 2010. The vocals are early Immortal, which, if you don't like an affect-less cryptkeeper croak, can be a little grating, but frankly the music churns with such fierceness and dark majesty that I barely noticed after an initial "Oh, he's doing Abbath." I frankly can't wait to see these guys live, as of this writing they're a two-piece and I don't know how they're going to pull this off.

well idk

i wonder if they would be better live cause they have a good energy about them. but right now im feeling kinda iffy in general...

Exaltation of the Ancient Cult to grand new heights

This album is amazing, even by the standards set by previous Inquisition albums.
