On & On

The first time I heard it, it caught my attention right away. The music, vocals, and the style. It has to be the greatest alternative rock song. They could be on top with Snow Play, The Killers, and The Replacements. I really hear it every time and will hear till my ears bleed. Great song!!!!!!!!

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SECOND B-SIDE??

great single by a great band. probably the first real band to move me and keep me listening to their album(s) more than a month after i picked it up. most indie rock being released today is SUCH a poor reprise of late 80's post-punk and creation records era shoegaze it's sad. i lived through the post-punk and shoegaze heyday and film school are the closest to that era i've heard any new band get. but the difference is, they bring their own sound to the table rather than attempting to recreate it and be something they're not. that's what makes them so different and special. they're major lable debut album "film school" is excellent! check it out. on a side note, the single for on & on that itunes is selling is missing the second b-side that is on the actual hardcopy "plus-one." what gives? i know itunes only sells what the distributor forwards them, but still... what gives?

smooth

This song is quite good. Its screams mellow sorrow on the edge of uplifting solitude. Very solid sound very simple and to the point vocals. Thier self titled cd is honestly worth getting.
