It's about time...
Finally a band that rocks! On Parallels transcends rock, punk and alt music into some really special. This is not one of those collections where one song sounds like the next so you got to download the whole thing. Musically this band leaves behind straight 4/4 time major key tunes. You've got to appreciate cut time and 3/4 with awesome breakdowns and bridges. You can tell the artists put some thought into showing some range. You won't find apple bottom booty shakin lyrics but songs that actually have something to say. I think this is rock 'n roll with a punk twist that is really refreshing. My only critic is Shevchuk's raspy vocals are great for most of it but i'd prefer to see some range maybe melodic into raspy. The Montage, According to my Notes, and Silenty just are my favorites now. They change everytime I listen to the versatile collection.

being a lifelong fan of kid dynamite and none more black, i never thought i'd say that i prefer this band to any of them. way more heartfelt and introspective than any of jason's previous releases. i wish they would have stayed together. but i'll gladly accept none more black in their place. check out jason's track on the new p.o.s. "terrorish".
The Next Step...
Jason Shevchuk proving again to be one of the most under-rated writers in the game. This steps beyond None More Black...the riffs, the lyrics, fantastic album.
