Husband-and-wife gothic country duo Carey Kemper and Kelly Bell issued albums for much of the early '90s under the Shivers moniker. Since Kemper and Bell were essentially nomads — they lived in an RV and home-schooled their two children — their albums would be recorded during brief stops on their walkabout.
