DT Rocks!!!
I was a little skeptical since Mike Portnoy left. He is a amazing drummer and was a great driving force in the band. The rest of the guys are awesome musicians and are just as talented as MP. Mike Mangini is a great drummer as well although a different style than MP. But great nonetheless. Great tune and better quality than the you tube version. Rock on this may be there best yet!!!

Even without Mike Portnoy there still epic,then again their drummer is Mike Magani.
Upping the Anticipation
If this is a sign of things to come, then Dream Theater is in excellent (and ever so fast) hands. Everyone knows new drummer Mike Mangini has the extreme talent to respond to the bands past catalogue, but the true test is to see what genie magic he can work on the "new stuff." Although not involved in the writting process this time around, Mangini makes his presence and techincal prowess known immediately, and how satisfying it is.
It is undeniable, all fans of the band will hold a special place in their heart for the past DT chapter, but the reverse of the page now shows even brighter in what is perhaps the bands best single release this past decade. They've managed to progressively rejuvenate their old sound while staying true to their more modern and mature approach to song writing. As always Petrucci, Rudess, Myung, and Labrie all shine, stringing together inspired, fluid, and yet hard-hitting musical ear-candy. Fear not, DT fans! If your first wish was for a killer prog-rock album this fall, consider it granted. As for wish 2 and 3? Who knows, but if one thing is certain: iDream of Gini . . . and you will too.
