A band that deserves more attention in the US

Good ol' fashioned rock music that makes you want to dance and that has a chorus you just have to sing along with. But like the very best rock music, there's something more going on in these songs. There's wit and poetry in the lyrics and a message that comes through after repeated listenings. Richard Archer is no poseur and his songs accomplish that most difficult of tasks -- expressing the joy and the sadness that permeate the life of an average joe. This is some of the best new music to come out in a long time.

Once Upon a Time In The West

Hard-Fi is back with their second album to date, and it is just as impressive as their first. There are plenty of catchy rhytms, the lyrics are solid, and the production is first class. That being said, we could have expected a little more in terms of variety of sound. This album could be titled Stars of CCTV 2, which is not a bad thing. It's a solid release that will please most fans.

Just As I Predicted!!

This is a great follow up to Stars Of CCTV. All the songs are a clear indication that the band has evolved since their last offering. My favs are "Tonight" which has a wonderful chorus line backing it. "Television" a great song with a great message, and "The King" which kind of reminds me of "Move On Now" from their last album. All of the other songs are great a must buy!!!
