One More Song For You
This album, recorded in 1979, set the standard for future CCM albums of the 80s, and beyond. Produced by Michael Omartian (Christopher Cross), the album featured some outstanding vocals by Russ Taff, as well as musical tracks that could have easily matched any secular album of it's time. Classics such as the title song, and Russ' own "Eagle Song" have truly stood the test of time, and are still performed by the group today. "Living Without Your Love" managed to gain airplay on some AC stations across the U.S. (possibly for the Bee Gees type lead vocal by Jim Murray), and of course the rock drive of "Higher Power" still sounds as good today as it did 26 years ago. Just good is this album? When Word Records released the double cd called "The Imperials-Legacy" in 1996, 6 of the 9 tracks on this recording made the cut. If you have purchased and Imperials recording, get this one! You won't regret it!

Memories from my early childhood. My older sister was so in love with Jesus and she listened to The Imperials all the time. I am sooo glad I found these songs again. I was only a child and loved them! I am a grown adult now and a Mom, and me and my family enjoy them now. It's such a blessing. True Holy Ghost music never goes out of style.
Excellent
This first time Imperials collaboration with Michael Omartian (Steely Dan, Donna Summer, ...the list goes on and on)is one of the greatest Artist - Producer match ups ever. Not just in Christian/Gospel Music but in all recorded music history to date! I think this is the very best Imperials (Grammy Nominated) album recorded by the best of Imperials combo (Aromond Morales, Jim Murray, Russ Taff, David Will) of their 40something year history. Every song is a smash hit in my book. Omartian is The Man!
