Album Review

In the course of four albums, The Connells have evolved their own style within the jangling guitar-rock sound so prevalent in alternative bands of the '80s. Mainly it's been a matter of writing more distinctive songs and having them sung by guitarist George Huntley so they sink in. This is their first album to cross over from the category of "promising" to the beginnings of a fulfillment of that promise.

Perfect Album! Enough said!

I bought this album 20 years ago, and it's been in the rotation ever since. Paradise for under $10!

90's College Rock Doesn't Get Any Better Than This

Like the other reviewers have said, I got this album back when it was released and I have never stopped listening to it. It's a great example of college rock of the era- melodic, listenable, and with great guitar by Mike Connell and George Huntley. They really progressed album to album from the start and this is a peak they sustained for 4 albums.

One Simple Word: AWSOME!

Listened to these guys in college in NC. True, clean example of early alternative, college radio rock. Incredibly pleased to see them on Itunes.
