Great Voice but Subpar Production
This artist has genuine singing talent but it is muted by 1) too high of volume for the beat and/or background music which drowns out his voice and 2) the musical accompanyment which in an effort to be orignal or different often turns out to be silly, weird or both and actually detracts from the songs. You would be better off to pass on this album and buy instead his followup album, Zaraban, which is terrific. Thankfully, someone woke up and refined the production to let his voice stand out and have tasteful musical accompanyment to go along with fine songs. Zaraban is a must buy, not this album.
