Awesome
I am a huge OTH fan, and I thought others would appreciate the following information. 1) There is a second volume of the soundtrack coming out February 7, 2006 2) Bethany Joy Lenz is coming out with her own CD on Epic Records, you can go to her site and listen to three tracks, and let me say, they are amazing. Overall, this soundtrack is very good, and I really love to drive to it. Peyton and Haley are my favorite characters. This soundtrack really captures the whole mood of the show.
Almost as cool as the actual show. Almost.
First of all, let me start by saying I am an extreme ONE TREE HILL fan. I love the music of this show almost as much as I love the actors! This is the music that makes the show what it is. Without it, yes, it would still be good. But by no means would it be great. My two favorite tracks are "When the Stars Go Blue" and "The Good Kind." It is sort of crazy, because this really isn't my style music. Im really into emo/punk rock but these two are an exception. I love Peyton's (Hilarie Burton, who does an excellent job by the way) music. I would totally dig a soundtrack of just her favorite artists. All in all, definitely give this soundtrack a try. It is very inspiring, and all the artist' featured are amazing!
One of the best sountracks!
This collection of songs has some very key music from the first season, just listening to the album brings back memories from the season. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the selection of the songs. Love all the tracks, but my favorites are "When the stars go blue", "Re-offender" and "Kill". I suggest not just listening to the songs but playing close attention to the lyrics and you'll see how perfect these songs are. Wonderful show, and an amazing soundtrack.
