An Amazing Work: Phoenixfire
This may be the best album produced yet by the MInistry of Magic. The songs are exciting, fun, and inspiring. Possibly the best contribution that this group has to offer is the fact that they are true fans and have the ability to capture the feelings of the books. For example, "Prelude" is a wonderful tribute to the Harry/Ginny relationship, and "Gryffindor Rally Cry" makes one feel like they are in the stands of a Quidditch game. Thank you, Ministry!
Nothing but love for MoM!
Okay, I admit it. I couldn't stand wizard rock. I sneered at Harry and the Potters (and still wince when I hear them) and I couldn't bring myself to listen to any of it. Then I happened upon MoM. And my life changed. I've been a HUGE Potter since I was about 8 years old. And let me tell you, MoM caputures EVERYTHING that is Harry Potter. Great music, sounds fantastic, meaningful lyrics. Ah. Harry Potter meets music in the one of the greatest ways possible. Trust me, GET MoM.
