A beautifully unique expression of creativity and a heart for God.
Charla Rainey blows me away. Her style of music is not forced into a box, she is very organic and lets the music move you. She is an extravagant musician and it is a delightful surprise as to where she takes the lisener and the journey you go on with her in this album.
My favorite song is Open Wide. It is a song that i heard last year and it has stuck with me since. There will be day i will be walking down the street with friends and i start singing Open Wide and everyone joins in because we all had it stuck in our head. haha! ITS A GREAT SONG! And simple enough to play in worship on Sundays! I love when my church plays it!
Vulnerable Praise...
'Open Wide' is absolutely creative and a breath of fresh air...it never gets old! What Charla Rainey did on this album is an inspiration for other songwriters and worshipers...an encouragement that praise and worship doesn't have to fit a certain format or look a particular way. How freeing!!!

WOW!!! I'm so excited about this album. You can totally hear the redemption behind the voice of Charla. Deep and intimate, "Open Wide" will reach into the depths of you and bring forth a song of true beauty from ashes. I haven't had an album that's made me cry this much in a long time - in a totally awesome Jesus way, of course. :) Great song-writing. Great music.
